Functie omschrijving Group FP&A Controller IT

You will work closely together with six other members of the Group FP&A team and communicate with the local business units across different countries. In this role you will support the digital and IT team including Chief Digital Officer (CDO) & Chief Information Officer (CIO) in financial analysis and planning. 

Daily activities will be a combination of maintaining the regular planning & control cycle including monthly reporting to all stakeholders and execution of a variety of FP&A projects. You will also be expected to support stakeholders with ad hoc questions and analysis when needed. 

You will be successful in this position if after six months you can handle ad-hoc requests from management team, take ownership of certain FP&A processes or act as finance counterpart in business improvement project.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Coordinate and drive efficiency in financial and business planning & control cycle, including the monthly reporting, annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes;
• Analysis of periodic results and preparation of stakeholder reporting, for ExCo, Supervisory Board, Shareholders, Lenders; 
• Business case evaluation, advice and post investment review of new investment proposals;
• Act as finance counterpart for financial or commercial improvement projects such as implementation of new monthly performance report;
• Be part of finance BI roadmap activities; drive innovation, simplification and optimizing BI tooling;
• Point of contact and support for Director Group Financial Control, CFO and Executive Committee in case of questions;
• Contact person for Shareholder with regards to questions and data requests; 
• Ad hoc analysis and projects that provide new insights and improve business performance. 

Team:
As Group FP&A Controller IT you’ll be part of the Group FP&A team (6 direct colleagues), each member with their own focus area but working together as a team! You’ll be reporting to the Head of Group FP&A.

Functie eisen

• Masters Degree in Business Administration or Finance/ Economics;
• 5+ years of relevant working experience within FP&A, M&A Deal Advisory, CFO advisory, Finance Consulting or Business partnering;
• Experience with monthly corporate planning and the controlling process; 
• Digital / IT controlling or FP&A experience is a plus;
• Fluent in English, speech and writing;
• Analytical and investigative mindset;
• Willing to share ideas and drive improvements; 
• Able to go beyond the figures and tell the story / key messages behind the numbers; 
• Good communication skills, able to influence and partner with various levels of professionals and explain financial concepts to non-financials;
• Self-driven, will take ownership and gets things done;
• Ambitious, and willingness to go the extra mile.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden

• Salary: €90.000 - €100.000,- (including holiday allowance and 13th month);
• Additional annual bonus;
