Vacature Group Consolidation Manager

As a Group Consolidation Manager at Mediq, you will be part of an ambitious and growing organization. Reporting directly to the Head of Group Financial Planning & Analysis, you will play a key role in the global finance team, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial consolidation and reporting processes.

In this international role, you will work with 13 markets and group finance teams, managing the group consolidation process and supporting monthly and annual reporting. You will serve as a key finance counterpart to IT, ensuring smooth system operations and process improvements.
Additionally, you will contribute to Mediq’s digital finance transformation roadmap, helping to simplify, automate, and accelerate financial reporting across the group.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Manage the IBM Cognos consolidation system, ensuring accurate and timely financial consolidation, reporting, and budgeting;
• Oversee month-end close procedures, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance from local finance team;
• Lead consolidation processes, including the design, maintenance, and rollout of new submission requirements;
• Maintain and enhance BI automated reports, improving data accessibility and visualization for finance teams;
• Manage user access rights and security settings, ensuring appropriate controls are in place;
• Onboard new team members to Cognos consolidation processes and maintain user manuals, process documentation, and training materials;
• Act as a key finance counterpart to IT, supporting system upgrades, enhancements, troubleshooting, and automation initiatives;
• Work closely with FP&A and Tax teams to ensure timely extraction and validation of financial data for performance reporting, statutory accounts, and tax compliance;
• Support local finance teams, ensuring alignment with group consolidation requirements and reporting deadlines;
• Oversee CBS reporting in the Netherlands, ensuring compliance with local regulations;
• Contribute to the digital finance transformation roadmap, identifying opportunities for process simplification, automation, and faster close cycles.

Team:
As Group Consolidation Manager you’ll be part of the Group FP&A team with 6 direct colleagues, each with their own specialisation but working together as a team! You’ll be reporting to the Head of Group FP&A.

Functie eisen

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field;
• 5+ years of experience in financial consolidation and group reporting within an international environment;
• Strong expertise in financial close, budgeting, and reporting processes;
• Project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously;
• Experience with IBM Cognos Controller (preferred) or other consolidation systems;
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and statutory financial reporting requirements;
• Experience working with IT teams on finance system management and improvements;
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken;
• Proactive mindset, focused on continuous improvement, automation, and efficiency in financial consolidation;
• Strong communication skills, able to explain technical concepts simply;
• Self-driven and results-oriented, able to take ownership and deliver solutions.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden

• Salary: €90.000 - €100.000,- (incl. holiday allowance and 13th month)
• Additional annual bonus
