Functie omschrijving

The Consolidation Specialist reports to the Head of Reporting and works closely with the Financial Controllers and the Business Control team. You will play a key role in collecting and validating data from entities around the world.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Responsible for the consolidation of 30 entities with sales in excess of €140 million;  
• Co-responsible for (quarterly) external (stock market) reporting, (monthly) internal reporting and the annual report;
• You are a sparring partner in the field of technical accounting (Dutch GAAP);
• Reconciliation of IFRS disclosures, ensuring the correct application of IFRS within the group;
• Co-responsible for the implementation and roll-out of the international Finance Manual;
• Record and track financial KPIs and liabilities such as net debt, leverage and contingent liabilities;
• Expand and implement internal control framework, integrate acquired entities into existing control framework;
• Create efficiencies in financial processes and drive automation capabilities;
• Key user in rolling out and maintaining the consolidation tool (AARO);
• Train, educate and assist segments, colleagues and other stakeholders on Accounting & Reporting;
• First point of contact for auditors and external stakeholders for internal control questions.

Functie eisen

• Bachelor/Master degree in Accountancy, Accounting & Control or ACCA;
• 5 years of experience within audit, international compilation practice or similar role;
• Good knowledge of and experience with IFRS and Dutch GAAP;
• Experience with setting up and maintaining Internal Control frameworks;
• Experience in an acquisition-intensive environment is a big plus;
• Experience with consolidation tools is a must, AARO a plus; 
• You are practical and structured;
• You are proactive with a hands-on mentality;
• Good command of the English language.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden

• Salary: €75.000 - €85.000 (including holiday allowance);
